Galvanic: Galvanic treatments increase oxygen and circulation, reduce wrinkles, facilitate deeper penetration of skin products and detoxify. The Galvanic Roller does this through both iontophoresis and desincrustation techniques. Iontophoresis is an electricity-based delivery system for nutrients that circumvents many of the lipid bi-layers of the skin by directly penetrating between them, something that passive liquid diffusion cannot. Desincrustation is a deep cleansing treatment that softens sebum and is the ideal treatment for oily or congested skin. Prepares the skin for extractions or Iontophoresis. It can be used after cleansing and if appropriate after a facial steam. Contains both (+ and -) charges.
